Citizens District Councils

The Bay City Citizens District Councils advise the city government with respect to programs for the orderly growth, development and redevelopment of the area. They keep the residents of the district informed about development plans and other issues of concern. They also promote better relations between local government and residents and encourages active citizen participation in building a better community. Members are elected by the residents of the district. They must live, or own a business in the district.
