Special Meeting

December 1, 2005

Call to Order

A quorum being present, the meeting was called to order by Chairman Larry Elliott at 6:00 p.m.

Members Present:  Northwest CDC:  Jim Trelewski, Larry Elliott, and Leon Katzinger; Midland Street CDC: Fred Nagel; Columbus Avenue CDC:  Mike Weiler, Dr. Mary Boettger, Bob Gutchek, and Dale Johnson; South End CDC:  Tom Baird and Judy Wisniewski; Northeast CDC:  Jan Rise, Richard Spencer and Suzanne Tyo.

Members Absent:  Northwest CDC:  Sandy Simmons; Midland Street CDC:  Terry Wagar and Nanette Hill; South End CDC:  Don Vanderberg.

Members Excused:  Midland Street CDC:  Richard Hembling; Southend CDC:  Chris Girard; Northeast CDC:  Robert Krieg

Others Present:  Debbie Kiesel from the City of Bay City.

Minutes

Motion made by Dr. Mary Boettger, seconded by Bob Gutchek, to approve the minutes of October 27, 2005, after 1 change.  Motion carried

No unfinished business at this time.

New Business

Overview of the Five-Year Consolidated Plan to HUD – Debbie Kiesel distributed copies of the five-year Consolidated Plan to HUD along with a copy of the CDBG and HOME Stakeholders Workshop Summary results.  Ms. Kiesel gave an overview of the plan. 

Ms. Kiesel stated that she will provide the Council with a summary of the five-year goals along with the funding applications when they are ready for distribution. 

Adjournment

Motion made by Bob Gutchek, seconded by Tom Baird to adjourn the meeting at 8:00 p.m.  Motion carried.
