Regular Meeting Minutes
January 2, 2008
CALL TO ORDER: Meeting, held at
City Hall in room 306 due to the school being closed, called to
order by Chairman Larry Elliot at 7:00 pm.
Members present have nothing after their
name, excused have (e) and absent (a).

MEETING MINUTES: A motion to accept
the minutes of the December 5, 2007 meeting was made by K.
Coonan, seconded by M. Hoff. Motion passed.
PUBLIC COMMENT: L. Elliot reported
that as per Jen Peters the 8th ward Community Police
Officer there have been many breaking and entries of houses and
cars and he suggested that people make a special effort to lock
up everything. Also S. Beson inquired about the robbery of Old
Town Pizzeria. L. Elliot informed us that there is a detective
assigned to the case but there are no suspects thus far.
NEW BUSINESS: Elections will be
Tuesday, February 5th during the day at City Hall and
from 6:00pm – 7:00pm at Linsday School. The February CDC
meeting will follow the elections at 7:00pm. L. Elliot
announced that everyone is still running except Charles Brunner
and that there are 3 openings available. He suggested that
members let people know about the openings.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS: K. Coonan
opened discussions about changing the Northwest CDC monthly
meeting date to the third Wednesday of the month due to other
meeting commitments of some members on the current date. K.
Coonan motioned to change the meeting date of the NW CDC to the
third Wednesday of the month, R.Hankison seconded the motion.
Motion passed.
COMMUNICATIONS/OTHER BUSINESS: L.
Elliot reported that the CDBG budget looks like it will have a
3% cut this year.
Motion by J. Neering to adjourn at
7:10seconded by D. Schultz. Motion passes.
