Request for Bids
The City of Bay City has absolutely reserved
the right and prerogative to reject any or all bids as well as to
waive any irregularities and informalities. The award of the
contract, if it is awarded, will be to a responsible and responsive
Bidder whom the City Commission, in its sole discretion and
judgment, determines will be in the best interest of the City of Bay
City, and which will not exceed the funds available for the project.

to request access (i.e. instructions and guest password) to download
documents. When requesting access please include the company's
name, mailing address and contact information.
Fabrication of Interpretive Signs
The City of Bay City is
requesting proposals for the fabrication of 15-20 Interpretive
Signs that will be erected on the private properties of
historical structures along the Scenic Byway Corridor and Center
Avenue Historic District. The purpose of this signage is to
enhance the byway visitor’s experience by educating and
providing interest in the intrinsic qualities of the corridor.
Each interpretive sign will be customized (one of a kind).
Sealed proposals will be received by the
City of Bay City at the Purchasing Office, City Hall, 301
Washington Avenue, Bay City, MI, until 2:00 p.m. on July
15, 2009. All bids will be publicly opened and
read aloud at 2:00 p.m. on July 15, 2009 for the
Fabrication of Interpretive Signs Bid # 10-0715all
in accordance with the Bidding Documents, and as otherwise set
forth herein.
